Access your custom settings

User preferences can be accessed via the drop-down menu on the upper right-hand part of the page. While quick access allows a user to change a password, download the user guide, choose cookie settings or sign out, a user can also select more advanced options by clicking on ‘User preferences’. Change your password

A user can change their password by clicking on the ‘Change password’ option. The password must:

  • be at least twelve characters,
  • and contain:
    • one upper case letter,
    • one lower case letter,
    • one number and
    • one special character.

Once a user enters their current password and new password twice, they can click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the change.

User Preferences

Thousand separator

The first option available in the User preferences feature is the thousand separator, which is the character used to group numerical digits by thousands. A user has the option to choose a point or comma.

Date format

The next option is to select the preferred date format. The default setting is based on the customer settings in our fulfilment system. It is important to set the preferred date setting to ensure accurate reflection of dates.

Mail notifications

The next section is Mail notifications, which provides options surrounding which alerts a user receives and their frequency. A user can expand and collapse this section by clicking on the arrow. Each notification can be turned on or off by using the slider button.

  • First due dates notification: this option manages if and how often a user wants to be reminded of service due dates. A user can choose a weekly or monthly frequency from the drop-down menu. There is also an option to select the frequency of weeks or months.
  • Past due services: this option manages alerts for past due services. A user can choose to be notified daily, weekly or monthly from the drop-down menu. Weekly notifications are sent on Mondays. Monthly notifications are sent on the first day of the month.
  • Near lapse date notification: this is an alert for services within 30 days of their lapse date. This notification can be toggled on or off.
  • Document upload notification: alerts a user to when a document has been uploaded to the Document center. A user can select a daily or weekly occurrence from the drop-down menu.
  • Invoice upload notification: informs a user that an invoice(s) has been uploaded to their Client Service Portal. This notification can be toggled on or off. When turned on, this notification runs on a daily basis.

 

Cookie Settings

Clarivate uses cookies (including pixels or other similar technologies) on our websites, mobile applications and related products (the “services”). The types of cookies we use are described within each cookie type as shown below.

‘Strictly Necessary Cookies’ are required to access CSP, but a user is able to toggle all other types on or off by using the slider button. Once cookie preferences are set, the user should click the ‘Confirm my choices’ button. They also have the option of accepting all cookies by clicking the ‘Allow all’ button.

Language selection

Language preference can be set by clicking on ‘Deutsch’, ‘English’ or ‘French’ in the language drop-down.
